Living in the UK, it can often be quite chilly, even in Spring, so a lightweight dog jumper that is comfortable and stylish is a great accessory to have in your dog’s pawdrobe.
Bew Dogs stocks 2 different types of dog jumpers (both cable knit sweaters): OG cable knits & Phoenix yards. The sizing for these are different so be sure to check the size guide!
Measuring your Bew dog for a jumper is an essential step to ensure that they are comfortable and that you don’t end up ordering something that won’t fit them properly. Follow these simple steps:
- Measure the neck: Use a tape measure to measure the circumference of your dog’s neck, right underneath where their collar sits.
- Measure the chest: Measure the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind their front legs.
- Measure the length: Measure your dog’s length from the base of their neck to their tail.
Once you have these measurements, you can use them to find the right size jumper for your dog, using our chart below. All jumpers are individually made so sizes may vary very slightly, but our stylish cable knits do have some stretch in them.
Remember, dogs come in all kinds of different shapes and sizes, and products for dogs are not standardised for size in the way they are for us humans. A dog that takes a small collar may not take a small jumper, for example – so It’s always best to measure up!

Bew Dogs has been created for hounds about town and we’ve tried to ensure we can stock all the sizes to cater for this. Right now, our OG cable knit jumpers are predominantly for smaller dogs but our Phoenix yarns have a more generous fit & are available in more sizes too! Peach orange goes to XXL for bigger breeds.
