We know only too well that puppies don’t stay little for long. One week their harness fits perfectly, and a few weeks later it’s suddenly too tight. We know how quickly dogs grow, and we don’t think that should mean perfectly usable harnesses end up in the bin - or worse our pooches aren't wearing a perfect fitting harness (which is both a comfort and safety issue). We're incredibly passionate abut ensuring every dog in the UK has a good quality, well fitting harness, no matter their age.
That’s why we created our Puppy Recycling Scheme.
How it works
If your dog has outgrown any wearable Bew Dogs product, simply return it to us in any condition. We’ll give you a voucher for 50% off a replacement item, so your puppy can move into the next size without the full cost of buying new.
Send us an email first. Then you can simply:
- Post your old item back to us. OR
- Hand it to us at one of the events we attend.
Once we’ve received it, we’ll send you your discount code.
Why we’re doing it
A better fit for your dog
A well-fitting harness isn’t just about comfort — it’s important for your dog’s safety, movement and confidence. A harness that’s too small can rub, restrict movement and become uncomfortable. We want every dog to wear a harness that fits them properly as they grow.
Better for the environment
Quality dog accessories shouldn’t become waste simply because a puppy has grown. Returned items are carefully assessed. Where possible, we clean and recycle items, or donate suitable items so they can continue to be used by another dog. By extending the life of our products, together we can reduce waste and make more sustainable choices.
Supporting growing puppies
Anyone who’s owned a puppy knows how many sizes they can go through in their first year. Our Puppy Recycling Scheme is our way of making those inevitable upgrades a little more affordable while encouraging responsible disposal of outgrown accessories.
What’s included?
The scheme applies to any wearable Bew Dogs item, regardless of its condition. Whether it’s well-loved, muddy, chewed or simply outgrown, we’ll accept it: dog harnesses, dog collars, and jumpers.
Ready for the next size?
When your puppy is ready to size up, just get in touch or bring your old item along to one of our events. We’ll take care of the recycling, and you’ll receive 50% off your replacement. Because every dog deserves a harness that fits perfectly—and every harness deserves the chance to have a second life.
